People and AI, working together on work that matters.
Samantha Labs is an applied research company. We study one problem: how people and AI can do real work together, in the places where judgement, responsibility and trust still matter.
Software was built for one worker at a time.
Most software assumes either a person working alone or an AI working alone. The work people most need done falls between the two.
Tools that leave the work with you
Software gives people tools. The person still does the work, carries it from start to finish, and holds it together.
Output without ownership
AI produces a great deal, quickly. Checking it, trusting it and owning what happens next is left to someone else.
Work that needs both
Work that matters needs the speed of AI and the judgement of a person, and a clear sense of who is responsible for what. Very little is designed for that.
The hard part is not the AI.
Responsibility
When AI does most of the work, who answers for the result?
Judgement
How does a person judge work they did not do themselves, without redoing it?
Trust
What would let someone rely on work shared between people and AI?
Expertise
How does real expertise reach more people without losing the care that makes it valuable?
We share what we learn when it is ready.
Our work is applied: we learn by building and by watching what happens when people use it. We will publish our findings as they mature.
